The Press On Kit includes yarn for a long Infinity Cowl or a short Cowl and Hat combination. The color-blocked design is inspired by the traditional aprons worn by Tibetan women. Reywa Fibers’ yarns and styles make a tribute to the nomad Tibetan women and the yak that they depend upon for sustainability. Reywa means “hope” in Tibetan and the company reinvests their profits in the Tibetan community.
The cowls are knitted in the round for double thick warmth and joined into a loop once completed. Color work is charted in color in the pattern for ease of use. Based upon your gauge, the hat can either be a beanie style or a slouch style.
The kit includes the patterns for both sizes of cowl and the hat as well as 2 skeins of Tibetan Yak Down in the main color and 9 mini-skeins of accent colors. Yak fiber is warmer than merino wool, resists pilling and drapes beautifully.
